gotta figure out why inbound reports are using placeholder text, and if this is something my instance did, or something a remote actor managed to do, then surface their account name/handle, and remotely ban them
the beauty of owning your server and developing your own fedi software, is that you can hardcore your instance to auto-ignore harassment adjacent reports about your account 🤣
I can't say it's been EXTREMELY simple to integrate Bluesky into a feed of content on the fediverse, but it's doable. I also feel like this is something Mastodon could easily do, but you'll probably see that update in 10 years
Every post is either, "Did you know INDIAN people are stealing your jobs!" or "I fucking hate women" or someone pretending to be stupid about something obvious for engagement, and it gives me a migraine headache
It kind of boils my chicken that the dev studios I want to see updates from aren't on the fediverse, are barely on Bluesky, and are mostly only posting on Twitter. I tried to be "involved" on Twitter and it's the most aggravating experience known to mankind
Kolektiva not beating the undercover FBI agent allegations
@Parasite@kolektiva.social @tsvga@ni.hil.ist welcome to social media, where things you say can be seen by others, especially if they're bad things that make false equivalencies
CW · Personal not sure if I should post
Feel like I can't play Classic WoW now because I'm waiting for the better iteration to come out in November
mfing FBI agents on this shit, bro
Kolektiva users on the compromised by the FBI raid instance: Ackshually, if you eat a hamburger that's fascism
CW · re: Pol, vegans
CW · Pol, vegans
Placing literal actual fascist action that's happening right before our eyes in the bottom rung of the importance list because you don't want people to eat a fucking hotdog
Stop it, get some help
What a wonderful person, am I right folks
@Parasite@kolektiva.social @tsvga@ni.hil.ist Someone seems abusive in this thread and it ain't me
Tested VAAK's "deprioritization" mute on a busy bot account and, it worked! Still seeing that account's posts, but way less at a time on the timeline
Putting user actions behind a queue so that when you click "favourite" or "bookmark" or some-such button, it doesn't visually appear to take a couple milliseconds to happen
Trying to figure out if there's a way I can send a remote "signal" to fedi instances that have old information about this account cached (and therefore making me somehow invisible to, largely, akkoma instances), and tell them to update the actor info for this damn account lol
